tiny tots
Join us for a Tiny Tots sensory & motor playgroup designed by a pediatric occupational therapist for children ages 18months-36 months. We will explore the sensory systems, build fine and gross motor skills and social play, while promoting communication and parent/caregiver bonding. Learn to engage your child in play using ALL the sensory systems including vestibular, proprioceptive, tactile, visual and auditory! This playgroup will be structured, including activity stations with obstacle courses, movement activities, messy play, songs focusing on motor imitation, art, exploratory play and so much more! Each class will include a tactile sensory station and/or tactile art activity to build fine motor development, promote use of both hands together, focus on language skills, following simple directions and social skills! The therapist will lead the activities, and parents are encouraged to join in with their child to complete each station. This group is best to keep ALL toddlers busy!

This playgroup will not only be FUN but will also provide children with developmentally appropriate and purposeful play activities to build a foundation for reaching all milestones. OT focused programs are a wonderful opportunity for children to explore, experience play and learn how to use their sensory & motor systems. Our playgroups are designed to provide a solid foundation to strengthen sensory and motor skills, which are essential building blocks for learning, communication, and completing daily tasks.
Is your child prepping for daycare or nursery program? The structure of this playgroup will be a great opportunity for your child to complete activities in a small group setting.

Is your child in Early Intervention or receiving private therapy? Join us! This playgroup is a wonderful way for your child to transition all skills learning in the home environment to the community with the help of a pediatric occupational therapist with over 13 years’ experience working in the Early intervention setting.
